Warren Raymond Pfeil, 65, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Friday, October 18, 2019, at his residence.

Warren was born in Portsmouth, VA, the Son of the late George Raymond Pfeil and Stella Conwell Pfeil. He was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Christopher, Jessie and Justin Sanders, and a stepson Earl Sanders, Jr. 

He retired from J. P. Stevens & Company.

Surviving are: his fiancée Pauline Sanders Conwell; a daughter, Leslie Ruth Joyner (Michael) of Kill Devil Hills, NC; a son, Justin Nelms (Laura) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two step daughters, Lisa Bellflower(Jeremy) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Angie Pitsenbauger, of Berrytown, VA; two step sons Eddie Lee Sanders and Robert Earl Sanders (Kimberly) all of Roanoke Rapids, NC; 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Warren was an avid fisherman and loved his family.

The family will receive at Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, 1015 West Fifth Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
