Ricky Lee Rook, 62, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his home.
A native of Halifax County, he was the son of Christine Acree Garner and the late Smithy Wilson Rook, Jr.
Ricky is survived by his mother and step father; Christine Acree Garner and Earl Garner of Gaston, his sons; Dustin Lee Rook of Wilmington and Marc Elliot Rowland, brothers; Michael Rook of Gaston, and Mark Garner and his wife Crystal of Pleasant Hill, sisters; Kay Evans and Lisa Futrell and her husband Robby, a special aunt; Carolyn Drake of Newsoms, Virginia, several nieces and nephews, and the person he considered “his everything,” Catherine Moore.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Wrenn Clarke and Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel with Rev. Vincent Beckwith officiating.
Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends Tuesday, January 28, 2020, from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home, and other times at Ricky’s home.
