Willis “Sam” Elton Liles, 89, of Littleton, NC, died Sunday March 1, 2020, at his residence.

“Sam” was born in Halifax County, NC, the son of the late Willie Leon Liles, Sr. and Annie Crawley Liles. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Smith Liles and a granddaughter, Alana Lynn Rhiannon Liles.

Mr. Liles was a farmer and a member of Tabor United Methodist Church.

Surviving are: three sons, Sammy Reid Liles and his wife Donna Harris Liles , Willis Neal Liles and his wife Jackie Copeland Liles, all of Littleton, NC and Mickey Lynn Liles and his wife Gloria Carroll Liles of Nashville, NC; a sister Mary Catherine Lee of Norfolk, VA, four grandchildren Chas Ingram Liles, Zachary Hudson Liles, Jonah Michael Liles and Sarah Elizabeth Liles.

The Family would like to express their thanks for the kind and devoted care to Mr. Liles, by his caregivers Clara Richardson, Minnie Hedgepeth, Judy Wright and Jennifer Hedgepeth.

The Family will receive at Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, Wednesday, March 4, 2020, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Stan Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Military Honors.
