Marie Adkins Berry, 100 years old, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 22, 2020.

Marie was born on April 1, 1920, to the late Burnice and William David Adkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clifford Berry. 

She was also preceded in death by her siblings: David, Eddie, Lonnie, Rufus, Julius, Alvin, Naomi, Ethel, and Mary.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandparent.  She was also the oldest member of East Tenth Street Christian Church. 

She is survived by her children: Patricia Berry Smith (Wayne) and Steve Berry; her three grandchildren: Kelly Keeter Allen (Clay), Kent Keeter (Melanie), and Heather Berry Ham (Chris); and six great-grandchildren: Kara Allen Clary (Adam), Colby Allen, Kristen Ham, Ian Keeter, Annika Keeter, and Eliana Keeter. 

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 25 at 11:00 at Cedarwood Cemetery with Pastor Jason Yeatts officiating.  Memorial donations can be made to East Tenth Street Christian Church.
