Ronald David Jones, 76, of Roanoke Rapids, NC died Sunday, September 19, 2021, at his residence.

Ronald was born in Halifax County, NC the son of the late William Walter Jones and Mary Pfeffer Jones. 

He served in the Army National Guard and was retired from J. P. Stevens & Co. 

His son, David Mark Jones and three brothers, Charles, Walter and Vernard Jones all preceded Ronald in death.

He was a charter member of New Life Church of Christ and a charter member of Davie Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are: his wife Linda Dickens Jones; a granddaughter, Kiera Rooker and her husband Zane of Richmond, VA; Nieces, Sissy, Linda, Patricia and Monique; adopted family he loved, Billy, Jennifer, Samantha, Brittany, Tori and Peyton; special friends Dot and Robert Portis, Joe and Judy Blake.

The Family will receive at Davie Volunteer Fire Department, 3155 Highway 158, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, a Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM.
