Mr. W. L. High passed on the early morning of December 26, 2021.
He was 88 years young.
Within 3 months of being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, the Lord took him home.

Mr. High was born in Greensville County VA to the late Willie Fitchue High and Nolia Floyd High. Also preceding him in death are his two sons, Ricky High and Ray High, his sister Alease High Rouse.
Surviving are his loving wife, Betty Gilliam High and daughter Glenda High Howerton, two sisters Maggie High Potts and Arlene High Moss, granddaughters Brandi Hewlett (Andy), Winter Green (Jason) and Billi Jean Pearson. Also four great grandchildren, Avery Green, Holden, Hollis and Hadley Hewlett.
Visitation will be Thursday Dec. 30, from 7 to 8:30 and a chapel service at 2:00 pm on Friday Dec. 31 in the chapel of Wrenn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. Pastor Wayne Marshall will be affricating the services.
We would like to thank Mrs. Betty Jones who is a wonderful friend and caregiver. Also Tim and Tammy Sheckler, Joe and Wanda Jordan for their support during this difficult time. Also thank you to the many wonderful friends who visited and showed their love. Mr. High said he had a thousand friends and zero enemies and he loved each and every one!
