John Grover Mitchell, Jr., 94, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. 

He was the son of the late John Grover Mitchell, Sr. and Lula Edna Lucas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Anita Ann Collom. 

He is survived by his wife, Maude Evelyn Mitchell, daughters, Mary K. Park, Donna Sellers (Danny), granddaughter, Jolene Morgan, three great-grandchildren, and dog, Daisy.

Mr. Mitchell loved the Flea Market, yard sales, hunting, and fishing. 

He was a hard worker and an employee of Champion for 30 years. He was also a World War II veteran.
