Bobby Reeves Weiss, 94, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

A native of Halifax County, he was the son of the late Annie Jordan Weiss and Cole Reeves Weiss.  Bobby was preceded in death by his wife Lucille.

Bobby was a lifetime member of Rosemary United Methodist Church.  He was also a 1946 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School and was retired from the USPS.

He is survived by his daughter, Janet W. Massey and her husband Jimmy, of Roanoke Rapids; his son Bobby Weiss Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sister Bonnie Sykes and her husband, Marson, of New Hill, NC; his two granddaughters, Jennifer M. Williams of Roanoke Rapids, and Julie M. Muskalla and her husband Nick, of South Mills, NC; his grandson Gregory Weiss; his five great-grandchildren, Drew Williams, Emily Williams, Sarah Williams, Matthew Muskalla and Logan Muskalla.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. At Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Sue Owens and Rev. Keith Sexton officiating.  Family will visit an hour before at Wrenn Funeral Home.
