The Gaston College Prep (GCP) football team shutout William R. Davie Wednesday afternoon 42-0.

GCP offense was led by Andrew “Doom” Faulcon. He had 10 carries for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. His touchdown runs were from 48 and 13 yards. He also had one 2 point conversion. Abijah Hines had 3 carries for 81 yards and 1 touchdown. His touchdown run was from 52 yards out. He also had one 2 point conversion. Chaika Hines had 2 carries for 41 yards and 1 touchdown. His touchdown was from 20 yards out. Antwan Harvey had 5 carries for 24 yards and 1 touchdown. His touchdown was from 3 yards out. He also had one 2 point conversion.

Derrick Shearin was 1-2 passing with one touchdown pass of 30 yards and 1 interception.

Travis Robinson was 1-2 passing for 14 yards.

Brandon Hyman had 2 receptions for 44 yards with 1 reception of 30 yards for a touchdown.

GCP Defense was led by Chaika Hines with 10 tackles. Kamaija Banks and Brandon Hyman had 6 tackles a piece. Kaeden Cherry had 4 tackles and 1 fumble recovery. Jaydan Ellis had 3 tackles. Andrew Faulcon, Dedrick Shearin, Abijah Hines and Tyree Watson all had 2 tackles a piece. Tyron Mills had 1 tackle and a fumble recovery.

Antwan Harvey had 1 kick return for 18 yards.
