Halifax County Bull Ring beats rain to complete 1st race of season

With Halifax County Motor Speedway's "Red Clay Bull Ring" 2019 season opening race rained out twice, Saturday was the night that Mother Nature didn't win.

Over 60 cars in five divisions beat the twice rain delayed 2019 Opening season event that proved to be a great night of racing. Other North Carolina and Virginia track canceling made for HCMS to be the place to be.

And a place it was to be. Twenty-one GR Mabrey Enterprises Late Models made the show, as seventeen battled out in the Torque Racing Supply Limited Sportsman event and eight raced for the $1,200 first place prize in the Wrenn Sports Grapgics Screen Printing & Embroidery Pure Stocke V8 feature.

Halifax County Motor Speedway Presents $500 To Win Pure Stock V8 Event And Five Divisions On Racing Friday May 3rd

After a successful season opener on April 20th Halifax County Motor Speedway is ready to return to racing on Friday May 3rd with racing in GR Mabrey Enterprises Late Model, Rusty's & Sons Alighnment Limited Sportsman, Wrenn Sports Graphics Screen Printing & Embroidery Pure Stock V8 ($500), Dependable Cooling & Heating Open Wheel Modified, and the Matco Tools U-Car.

The Wrenn Sports Graphics Sreen Printin & Embroidery Pure Stock V8 division will be having a special event paying $500 to win and the Speedway will host the return of the Dependable Cooling & Heating Open Wheel Modifieds.

Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. On track action is set to begin at 6:45 PM.

Halifax County Motor Speedway would like to thank everyone for their continued support and we hope to see everyone at the "Red Clay Bullring" Halifax County Motor Speedway Friday May 3rd as we host five divisions of dirt racing at it's best.
