Wednesday, the Roanoke Rapids High School Yellow Jackets Cross Country teams traveled to Owens Park in Louisburg for a meet.
The boys , led by Camden Gray with a time of 22:41, finished 6th overall.
The girls team finished first with a total of 43 points. Savannah Medlin led the Lady Jackets placing first overall with a time of 22:59. Kara Baird finished 3rd followed by Anna King in 8th, Syler Wade in 14th and Emilee Campbell in 17th.
The Jackets travel to Nash Central next week.
