The RVYSA U10 Fury travel soccer team recently traveled to Richmond, VA to participate in the 2018 Richmond Kickers 36th Annual Columbus Day Tournament.
The first game on Saturday pitted the RVYSA Fury against the Richmond Kickers Collegiate team. The RVYSA Fury defeated the Kickers 8-3. Tripp Garner had 3 goals, Bryson Pair had 2 goals, Luke Corum, Tyler Merritt and Wyatt Crew rounded up the scoring with 1 each. The Fury were lead on defense by Reagan D’Arco, Mitchell DeLoatch, Luke Corum and Ben Snead.
The second game on Saturday pitted the RVYSA Fury against the Richmond Strikers Chesterfield Elite Grey team. The RVYSA Fury won a very close game 4-2. Goals were scored by Tyler Merritt, Brayden Parker, Tripp Garner and Wyatt Crew. The Fury were lead on defense by Luke Corum, Ben Snead, Mitchell DeLoatch and Reagan D’Arco.
The third game on Sunday pitted the RVYSA Fury against the Richmond Kickers Black team. The RVYSA Fury defeated the Kickers Black team 5-3. Bryson Pair had 2 goals and Wyatt Crew, Tyler Merritt and Tripp Garner all had 1 goal each. The Fury were lead on defense by Mitchell DeLoatch, Reagan D’Arco and Ben Snead.
The fourth game on Sunday pitted the RVYSA Fury against the PWSI Courage Tiempo team. The RVYSA Fury defeated the PWSI Courage team 7-0. Tripp Garner had 4 goals, Tyler Merritt had 2 goals and Bryson Pair 1 goal. The Fury were lead on defense by Ben Snead, Reagan D’Arco and Mitchell DeLoatch.
