The RVYSA U10 Fury recently traveled to Greensboro, NC to participate in the 2018 adidas CLASH tournament.  There were over 300 teams from 6 states playing in this tournament.

The first game on Saturday pitted the RVYSA Fury against the Abejas Futbol Club team from Raeford, NC.  The RVYSA Fury defeated Abejas 5-2.  Bryson Pair had 3 goals, Tyler Merritt and Wyatt Crew rounded up the scoring with 1 each.  Tripp Garner had several assists to help with the scoring.  Reagan D’Arco and Mitchell DeLoatch manned the goal while Luke Corum, Brayden Parker and Ben Snead lead the way on defense.

The second game on Saturday pitted the RVYSA Fury against the GUSA Murray team from Greensboro, NC.  The RVYSA Fury lost a very close game 4-2.  Tripp Garner and Wyatt Crew scored the 2 goals for the Fury.  Bryson Pair and Tyler Merritt contributed to the scoring with assists.  The Fury were lead on defense by Luke Corum, Ben Snead and Brayden Parker.  Mitchell DeLoatch and Reagan D’Arco handled duties at the goal.

The third game on Sunday saw the RVYSA Fury go against the GUSA Bulldogs team, also from Greensboro, NC.  The RVYSA Fury lost another very close game 3-2.  Tripp Garner scored both goals for the Fury.  Bryson Pair, Brayden Parker, Wyatt Crew and Tyler Merritt all took multiple shots at the goal but were unable to convert to scores.  The Fury were paced at goal by Reagan D’Arco and Mitchell DeLoatch.  Ben Snead and Luke Corum rounded up the defensive end.

The RVYSA Fury ended up in 3rd place in their division.  The team would like to thank its sponsor, San Jose Mexican Restaurant.
