The Red Oak based 12U Carolina Diamondbacks travel softball team traveled to Clayton on September 14th and 15th and played in the Beast of the East tournament.

They team was placed in the Red bracket. After two days of hard-fought softball, the Diamondbacks finished 3rd with a 2-2 record.

Outstanding play and pitching performances for the weekend were provided by Kalissa Williams, Chloe Moore, Madison "Hollywood" Jones, and Shae Johnson.
