The Roanoke Rapids based Lady Venom 10U "08" travel softball team traveled to Greenville this past weekend with their sights set on gold.

Venom started off the day winning both pool games, not giving up any runs securing them the #1 seed.

 

 In bracket play the team won their first game advancing them to the winners bracket on Sunday where the Venom team would take their first lost by 1 point to the Shockwave.

 

The Venom team would fight back through the loser's bracket and earn a chance to face the Shockwave once again in the Championship.

 

In the Championship Venom would prove theirselves worthy by out scoring their opponents 12-1 forcing them into ITB where they would fall short 2-1 taking 2nd.
