Lieutenant H.G. Phillips of the City County Drug Task Force said neither gave any statement when they arrived at the sheriff's office shortly before 12:30 p.m.
The pair were wanted on drug charges stemming from an investigation into complaints received from the Dickens Avenue area just outside Roanoke Rapids.
They face charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine; felony possession of cocaine; maintain a dwelling place for a controlled substance; simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were jailed on $10,000 secured bonds and have August 26 court dates.
