Weldon PD investigating Family Dollar B&E

Weldon police are investigating an early morning break-in at Family Dollar on East Second Street in which several packs of cigarettes were stolen.

According to the initial report, three people, who appeared to be young and white, approached the front door of the business around 3:15 a.m. today and broke out the glass.

One of them entered the building and stole cigarettes located behind the cash register.

The one entering the store wore a gray jacket with white trimming, black, faded jeans and black and orange sneakers.

Another person wore a black jacket with a hood, black pants and black and white sneakers while the third person wore a blue jacket with a white stripe down the shoulder, black pants and shoes.
