Vincent sentencing set next week

Wardie Vincent Jr. will face sentencing in the Operation Rockfish police corruption case next week, federal court records show.

A notice of hearing shows his sentencing is set for 1 p.m. next Wednesday in the federal courthouse in Greenville before Senior Judge Malcolm J. Howard.

Court records filed in August show Vincent intends to plead guilty on counts one and two which are counts involving conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances and use of a firearm in relation to drug trafficking.

Eleven other counts will be dismissed.

Meanwhile in the case, a notice for arraignment has been set Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Greenville for Alaina Sue-Kam-Ling, Kavon Phillips, Crystal Pierce, and Tohsa Rochelle Dailey. They are to appear before Magistrate Judge Kimberly A. Swank.

Meanwhile, as previously reported, arraignment for the following Operation Rockfish defendants will be held during the court's February 9 term in Greenville:
