Roanoke Rapids police and other law enforcement agencies across the eastern part of the state are looking for two men on an apparent larceny spree at Lowe's Home Improvement stores throughout the region.

This morning around 11, the men hit the Lowe's store in Roanoke Rapids, according to Investigator Chris Babb.

Two chain saws were stolen, the man in black jacket believed to be the driver of a white F-150 extended cab pickup and the one in the light jacket believed to be the one who took the items from the store, exiting with them through the entrance doors.

The truck was last seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed, traveling west on Highway 158.

The men are being sought for questioning in similar larcenies in Wilson, Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Greensboro, Greenville and Kinston.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Babb at 252-533-2810 or 252-533-2328 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
