Former resident Wayne Ray and his wife, Lori, of Wilmington, presented a check to Trinity for $5,000.
Ray, who owns Coastal Carriers Moving Company and Launch Pad, presented the check Thursday to Amy Dennis and Shannon Polk Green.
Trinity offers support groups for families burdened with grief and is currently spearheading a Christ-centered recovery program from substance abuse called CrossRoads.
