Man sought on outstanding ID theft warrant

The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of Torrence Monta Richardson, 35, of Enfield.

Detective D.C. Dickens said Richardson is charged with ID theft, the count stemming from an investigation which determined he used the identity of an out-of-county resident to avoid drug charges in 2013.

Torrence frequents the Enfield and Rocky Mount areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444 or Dickens at 252-593-1002.
