Roanoke Rapids police have obtained warrants in a Saturday morning shooting at Yesteryear Cafe & Lounge in which three people were injured.

Chief Chuck Hasty said the three wanted — Darius Dontae Williams, Kesherra Lache Graham and Quayshawn Jaimanine Rogers, all of Roanoke Rapids — are considered armed and dangerous and tend to frequent different areas of Roanoke Rapids.

The shooting, Hasty said, was the result of an unknown dispute. Investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed. Numerous shots were fired during the disturbance, which police responded to shortly before 1:45 a.m.

Two victims have been treated and released and one remains hospitalized in stable but critical condition.

In the wake of the shooting the owner of Yesteryear, in which there were two shootings last year, voluntarily surrendered ABC permits, effectively closing the establishment. Any applications for temporary permits at the Becker Drive lounge will be first reviewed by the police department and state Alcohol Law Enforcement.

Williams, 29, faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a weapon into an occupied building causing serious injury.

Graham, 21, and Rogers, 25, both face charges of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed gun, discharging a weapon into occupied building and injury to property.

Warrants were filed by Investigator J.K. Davis.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to local law enforcement; Davis at 252-533-2810 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
