Northampton continues search for two in separate cases

The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office continues to look for two people on the run in separate cases — one of them since 2014 and the other since this past summer.

Captain M.D. DeLoatch Sr. said the sheriff's office continues to look for JaQuan Deloatch, 24, of Conway, who is wanted for a break-in on July 26 in the Woodland area as well as several more reportedly committed while on the lam.

The captain said Deloatch tends to frequent the Woodland and Potecasi areas, reportedly stealing TVs, guns and other items of value.

Warrants are on file for his arrest on the July charges of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny as well as the other charges while he has been on the run.

Meanwhile, the sheriff's office continues to seek Lashawn Moore, 24, of Woodland.

Warrants are on file for Moore’s arrest in connection with Operation Take as Directed where more than 20 arrests were made.

Moore has been charged with conspiracy to sell or deliver schedule II, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance and sell and deliver a controlled substance.

He is known to frequent areas of Bertie and Northampton counties.
