The checkpoint, according to officer L. Clanton, will be held on Highway 301.
The Garysburg and Enfield police departments will assist as will the state Highway Patrol.
Clanton encouraged people passing through the area to wear their seat belts and have a designated, licensed driver if they have been drinking.
