After a lightning storm and heavy rains washed the fields out at Ledgerwood Park, games would resume.

The U8 field was washed out and not playable. the other two needed lots of work quick dry and hard work by the Roanoke Rapids Parks and Recreation department of John Simeon, Gary Faulcon and Gary Moore. but within four hours the girls were back on the field around 9:30 pm. Roanoke Valley's U12 game scheduled for 7:30 was rescheduled until Saturday morning at 8:00 am. While Edenton/Chowan vs Cashie U16 was schedule at 7:30 was maybe gonnabe played Friday night if the game would start before midnight.
