Arrests have been made in two different breaking and entering cases — one in the Enfield area and one in the Littleton area.

Detective J.M. Clark of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said Clemmon Alston, 22, of Enfield, and Junious Pittman, 31, of Rocky Mount were charged in the Enfield breaking and entering.

Clark said Alston was picked up this afternoon.

The men face charges of felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen property and larceny of a firearm.

The investigation began early in October following the break-in of a residence in the White Oak community where jewelry, electronics and a gun were stolen.

Through the investigation, and with the assistance of Nash County Sheriff’s Office detectives, Clark recovered some of the stolen property.

Pittman was served warrants while in the Wilson County Jail and awaits a January 22 court date.

Meanwhile, Clark charged Destin Wayne Walters, 36, and Amanda Milton, 30, both from Littleton, with felony breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm, and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering.

The charges stem from an investigation of a residential break-in that began earlier this month in the Littleton area. A firearm, which was recovered, was taken.

Milton was served with the warrants on Wednesday and is in jail under a $2,000 bond awaiting a January 22 court date.

The Sheriff’s Office is still attempting to locate Walters.
