Hollister man charged with stealing cash

A Hollister man was arrested today for break-ins that occurred between December and January, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

The break-ins allegedly committed by Earlie Lynch, 23, involve the theft of about $300 from a victim Lynch was familiar with, Detective Obert Wiltsie said.

The crimes occurred in the Lark Drive area of Hollister.

Investigation led to warrants being obtained on Lynch and served today for two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of larceny after breaking and entering and two counts of possession of stolen goods.

Lynch received a $2,500 bond and was assigned a March 26 court date.
