Friday night the 10u Roanoke Rapids All Stars went to Pinetops and faced Wilson County in round one of the Area 4 tournament.  The RR All Stars played well and won the game 8-2.

AJ Strickland and Russell Moore each pitched 3 innings for the All Stars to notch the victory.  Strickland gave up 1 hit and struck out 8 while Moore gave up 2 hits and struck out 2.

Leading the way at the plate were Strickland and Moore each with one hit.  Chase Nelson, Strickland, and Moore each scored twice.

The All Stars now move on to face Holly Springs East Today (Saturday)at 12:00 PM.
