The Roanoke Valley U10 girls All-stars battled back in the losing bracket Friday night with a 13-3 win over Currituck County.

Lily Curtis pitched a 5 inning with 9 strike outs with Ashlyn Cooke helping with a great show behind the plate.

At the plate Lily Curtis went 3-4 with 2 triples and a double, Morgan Hudomint 2-3, Logan Storey 3-4, Lauren Garner 3-5, Brooke Ott 3-5, Ashlyn Cooke 2-4 and Gracie Mason with a double.

The girls continued the will to win Saturday afternoon in Winsor beating Edenton/Chowan 13-3.

Ashlyn Cooke pitched a strong 8 strike out 4 innings while Logan Storey assisted giving her a 1 inning 3 strikeout break to give RVGSL U10 All Stars a 5 inning 13-3 win.

At the plate Ashlyn Cooke lead the team going 3-4 with a double and 2 walks, Morgan Hudomint 3-3 with a single and 2 walks, Brooke Ott 3-4 with a double, Susannah Odom 3-4 with a double, Lily Curtis 3-4, and Lauren Garner 3-4.

The RV U10's return to action today (Saturday) at 5:30 PM in the semi-finials
