The Roanoke Valley U12 girls softball All-stars started the day Saturday 2-0 in the winners bracket in the Area tourney in Windsor. Then they faced Perquimans and lost 10-0 dropping them to the loser bracket. Haley Martin received an hand injury and received four stitches and return to see game two, but out for the season.

In game two of the day Roanoke Valley came up short again losing 15-8 to Currituck County. Finishing 3rd in the tournament.

The Roanoke Valley U12 All-stars District 4 Little League tournament is scheduled for next week in Ahoskie but they will not  have enough players to attend.
