Captain Anzell Harris said in a statement the search warrant led to the arrest Anthony Devon Bennett, 33.
The arrest and seizure was based on an investigation Harris conducted.
Shortly before 5 p.m. he and agents D.C. Dickens, C.L. Dixon and D.R. Radford went to the residence.
There they found approximately 33.2 grams of pot and several items of paraphernalia that included two boxes of plastic bags and two digital scales.
Bennett was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana; maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was also served an order for arrest for failing to appear in Halifax County District Court.
The drug arrest carried a $10,000 secured bond while the order for arrest carried a $5,000 secured bond.
He was given April 22 and April 24 court dates.
