Around 3 a.m., officers received a call to the Fairfax Motel on East 10th Street for a disturbance.
Lieutenant Perry Parks, Sergeant Mike Moseley and Officer Jeffrey Mason responded.
The officers spoke with Olivia Marie Adams, 37, and Jeffrey Naquan Powell, 34, both of Roanoke Rapids, who were in one of the rooms.
Adams had outstanding orders for arrest and was taken into custody.
Powell was found to be in possession of marijuana and some paraphernalia by Mason.
Powell was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Powell was given a $2,000 bond and a March 25 court date.
Adams was given a $3,000 bond and a court date of March 20.
Around 8 p.m., Mason responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle on Clinton Street.
Mason spoke with the Lonnie Lee Wood, 17, of Roanoke Rapids, who was the driver of the vehicle. During the contact with Wood, Mason found him to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia, Mason cited Wood for possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wood has an April 17 court date.
