DeLaMora officially honored as top trustee

Bernella DeLaMora was officially recognized as the 2015 Trustee of the Year by the Rural Community College Alliance.

A tip on a vehicle stolen from Maryland led to its recovery as well as drug charges lodged by the City County Drug Task Force Wednesday.

Woodland man arrested for June AC theft

The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office arrested RaQuan Williams, 20, of Woodland, for a June residential breaking and entering in which a window air conditioning unit was stolen.

Horton murder trial under way

 

The state intends to prove Jimmel Horton not only killed Chris Harrison in a 2013 home invasion on Zoo Road South but also killed Monte Hines, who was thought by Halifax County Sheriff's Office investigators to be an assailant in the deadly robbery attempt.
