The family of Erma May Sees Springston sadly announces her death on October 28, 2023, while residing in Winston-Salem, NC with her son.

Mrs. Springston was born on January 9, 1924, to Uris Earl and Daisy May Dillon Sees at their home in Belpre, Ohio.

Mrs. Springston worked for Halifax County Schools starting as a teacher's assistant, then receiving her degree in education from North Carolina Wesleyan College began her teaching career, retiring after twenty years.

The Springston family moved to Jesup, GA where Mrs. Springston began teaching at Altamaha Community College and stayed in that position till fully retiring at age 86.

Mrs. Springston was a member of Family Fellowship Chapel in Mt. Airy, NC where she attended and taught adult Wednesday night class until Covid.

She continued to be a faithful supporter even when she was unable to attend.

She is also well known for her own ministry in teaching and speaking.

She has spoken to several ladies groups and in churches and taught at the School of the Spirit.  She was an avid student of the Bible getting up early every morning to spend several hours studying and learning God's Word.

The lives she touched through her ministry are uncountable and the love for her was shown by everyone who knew her.

In addition to the above, Mrs. Springston also pastored Lighthouse Church in Belpre, Ohio with great success.

Mrs. Springston was also a lady of many other talents, one being her musical ability.

She was a lovely pianist, having played in several churches and also for a quartet. This was an ability that started when she was a child and remained with her till death.

God had given her a remarkable talent!!

Another ability she had was her beautiful penmanship.  Her handwriting skill was something she was proud of.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, R. P. Springston, Sr., siblings Edna Combs, Blanche Walker, and Earl Wayne Sees, daughter Wilda Huth and son Robert Springston, Jr., and sons-in-law Bill Huth and Ron Treadway.

Much appreciation to Trellis Hospice for their kindness to her during the last few months and to Mike and Sharon Springston, who are so greatly appreciated for the loving care they extended to her for the last year and a half.
