Mrs. Etta Paulette Walters Bishop

Mrs. Etta Paulette Walters Bishop died Saturday, January 28.

She was 70 years old.
A lifelong native of the Roanoke Valley, Etta was born in Halifax County to the late Jack Walters and Lula McDonald Walters. Etta was a retired seamstress and a loving Mother to many in the community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberlyn Bishop.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by a son; Roy Travis Bishop, Daughters; Windy Bishop Shaw of Littleton, Michelle Bishop Liles of Henrico, and Shaun Necole Bishop Pickard (James) of Spring Hill, Florida, originally from Roanoke Rapids. Brothers; Durwood Walters of Littleton and Doug Walters of Roanoke Rapids. Sister Barbara Jean Daughtry of Lasker. Grandchildren; Micheal Travis Gay, William Joseph Shaw, Shanna Sheree Radford, Myah Michelle Pearson, Codie Chase Lassiter, Dustin Gordon, Darian Liles, Cole McGwire Pickard, Peyton Oneal Pickard and three Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, February 1st, at 2:00 P.M. at Cedarwood Cemetery with Dr. Dennis Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wrenn, Clarke and Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.wrennclarkehagan.com.
