Dorothy Lee Pepper Green

Dorothy Lee Pepper Green, 98, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC.

Mrs. Green was born in Halifax County, May 28, 1918, to the late Bernard and Maggie Shaw Pepper.

She loved being outside, taking care of her flowers and mowing her grass and she did this well into her 90’s. She also had a love for the mountains.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Green, Sr.; daughter, Carolyn Greene Johnson; brother, Reginald Pepper; two sisters, Clarice Shaw, and Lillie Belle Andleton.
