Hazel Neville Pike

Hazel Neville Pike, 84 of Littleton died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Pike was born September 22, 1926 in Halifax County to the late Furman Early Neville and Peachie Crawley Neville.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Herbert L. Pike, Sr.  Mrs. Pike was a longtime member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Pike was a homemaker and also worked with her late husband H.L. Pike in their businesses.

Left to cherish her memory were her Sons: Herbert L. Pike , Jr. and wife Kathy of Roanoke Rapids, Eddie Early Pike and wife Maxine and Michael Anthony Pike and wife Teresa of Littleton; Daughter: Sandra “Sandi” Bennett and husband Ervin of Triplet, VA; Brother: L.S. “Bud” Neville of Rock Hill, SC; Sister: Olin “Beany” Johnson of Roanoke Rapids; Grandchildren: Brad Pike, Meagan Pike, Justin Pike, and Brandon Pike;  Step Grandchildren: Lori Cook and husband Eric, Joseph Baird; Step Great Grandchildren: Sean, Caleb, Trinity and Caiden.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Formo and Rev. Henry Stephens.  Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7-8:30p.m. Sunday, January 16,2011 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service and other times at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Maxine Pike.
