Mr. Robinson was born in Greensville County, VA, the son of the late Vilas G. Robinson and Elizabeth Twisdale Robinson.
He was retired from Grizzard Auto Parts and was a member of First United Methodist Church. A sister, Frances Collins and three brothers Arldon Robinson, Vilas G. Robinson, Jr. and Glenn Kessler Robinson, also preceded Earl in death.
Surviving are: his wife Annie Pearl Vincent Robinson, a daughter, Sue Robinson Conger and her husband Robert of Weldon, NC; a son David Earl Robinson and his wife Cindy of Roanoke Rapids, NC; three sisters, Doris Murfee, of Williamsburg, VA, Geraldine Starke of Richmond, VA, and Elizabeth Davis of Emporia, VA; six grandchildren, Geoffrey Hardee and his wife Meg, Cody Conger and his wife Kristie, Lewis Conger and his wife Ashley, Mary Sue Fulk and her husband Jordan, Christopher Robinson and Jessica Robinson; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, 1015 West Fifth Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Cory Oliver officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC.
The family will receive at the funeral home, prior to the service from 12:30 PM to service time.
