William 'Billy' Clements Myrick Jr.

William “Billy” Clements Myrick, Jr., 90, of Oak Grove Church Road, Littleton, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Guardian Care in Roanoke Rapids.

Mr. Myrick was born June 15, 1921 in Halifax County to the late William Clements Myrick and Sarah Elliot Myrick. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wives: Evelyn Pegram Myrick and Sallie Marie Myrick and his daughter Vickie Myrick Camp.

Mr. Myrick was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.  He also was a member of Calvary Hunting Club.  He was a retired carpenter and construction foreman and also worked at Myrick Estates Country Club.

Mr. Myrick is survived by his son: William T. “Tommy” Myrick and wife Teresa ; son-in-law: James Camp all of Littleton; three grandchildren: Lori Camp, Ashley Myrick and T.J. Myrick all of Littleton.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Branch and Rev. Stan Lewis officiating.  The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 P.M. Friday, July 29, 2011 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service and other times at the home of his son.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church or Calvary Cemetery Association, 136 Calvary Church Road, Littleton, NC 27850
