Randy Lee Taylor

Randy Lee Taylor, age 58 of Robin Road passed away July 12, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Randy was born January 8, 1955 in Halifax County North Carolina, the son of the late Jacob Rudolph Taylor and Nettie Virginia Gilliam. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Randy will be truly missed by so many. He was also the owner operator of Interstate Garage in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Survivors include his loving wife Pam Taylor, his four sons, Andy Taylor and wife Leigh, Kevin Harris, James “Bubba” Harris and fiance' Kristen DeBerry, Terry Lee Harris and Amanda Moncure, seven grandchildren, Ryleigh, Landyn, Kasen, Corey, Jacob, Jackson and Jessalyn, three brothers Butch, Mike and Jerry Taylor all of Roanoke Rapids, NC, one sister Anne Taylor Smithwick and husband Donald and a very special grand puppy “Tootz” Harris.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Massey Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, NC at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Wayne Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to North Carolina Organ Donor Services, 3621 Lyckan Parkway Durham, NC 27707.
