She is survived by her son, Brian Pooley and his wife, Brook of Roanoke Rapids; 2 grandchildren, Leah Brook Pooley and Bryson Thomas Pooley; 2 sisters, Pam Shorder of Akron, OH, Sheila Skidmore of Baltimore, MD; her best friend, Trevor Hux and her husband, Ernest; and her dog Rocky.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 6:00 until 7:30 pm at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services.
