Gaston College Prep delayed two hours.
The Roanoke Rapids Graded School District will operate on a three-hour delay Friday and will also operate on an early release schedule Saturday.
All schools and government offices across the area will be closed Thursday.

The city of Roanoke Rapids will close at 1 p.m. today.
Halifax Community College will close at 4 p.m. today.
