From Halifax County Government: Water service should now be fully restored from a break earlier on Highway 561.
From Halifax County government: Water service in the southeast portion of Highway 561 has been restored except for the area between Slashes Road and Highway 301.
From Halifax County government: There is an active water main break on Highway 561 that is impacting the southeast portion of the county. Halifax County Public Utilities crews have been working since midnight to restore service. There is currently no estimate on service restoration.
