PUBLIC NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §143-318.12(b), public notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., in the Commissioners' Board Room on the second floor of the Halifax County Historic Courthouse, 10 North King Street, Halifax, North Carolina.

The purpose of this meeting is to go into closed session to discuss a matter pertaining to both economic development and the acquisition of an interest in real property, pursuant to G.S. 143-318.11(4) and (5)(i).
