NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
HALIFAX COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that the Halifax County Economic Development Commission will hold a Special Meeting as follows:

Date: Monday, August 17, 2026 at 3:30 PM
Location: Halifax County Visitor Center, 260 Premier Boulevard, Roanoke Rapids, NC

The purpose of the Special Meeting is to discuss matters relating to an economic development project.

Following the Call to Order, the Commission will consider a motion to enter into Closed Session pursuant to North Carolina General Statute (NCGS) 143-318.11(a)(4) to discuss matters relating to the location or expansion of industries or other businesses in the area served by the Commission.

No action is anticipated following the Closed Session.

This notice is provided pursuant to NCGS 143-318.12(b).
