HALIFAX COUNTY PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Date. Time and Place of Meeting

Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12(b)(2) notice is hereby given that the Halifax County Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room on the second floor of Historic Halifax County Courthouse, 10 North King Street, Halifax, NC.

Purpose of Meeting

Pursuant to G.S. 160D-604(c), the Planning Board will review and comment on the proposed zoning map amendment submitted by Halifax Aggregates, LLC to rezone tax parcel #06-20086 (254.959±acres) from LI - Light Industrial to RA - Residential-Agriculture. The public is invited to attend the meeting.
