PUBLIC NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §143-318.12(b), public notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., in the Commissioners' Board Room on the second floor of the Halifax County Historic Courthouse, 10 North King Street, Halifax, North Carolina.

The purpose of this meeting is to appoint a Deputy Clerk to the Board, to consider the approval of proposed amendments to an economic development agreement between Halifax County and Quiet Data Centers Halifax Inc. and to approve or authorize such other actions related thereto as may be deemed necessary.
