The Halifax County Board of Commissioners will resume in-person meetings on Tuesday but will also have a livestream option.

The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the boardroom on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse in Halifax. The Historic Courthouse is located at 10 King Street.

Those who wish to attend the meeting in person will enter the main entrance of the courthouse facing King Street and sign in with the front desk before proceeding to the meeting room.

For citizens who prefer a virtual option, the meeting will also be livestreamed. 

Those who wish to view the live stream need only log in to https://www.halifaxnc.com 

when the meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. and scroll down to Latest News on the home page, then click on the box that says Halifax County Commissioners Meeting — Live — Sept. 6, 2022.

The meeting can be viewed on the county’s YouTube channel

Those who are unable to view the meeting during the live stream will be able to access a recording of the meeting in the same location on the website after the meeting is over.
