The Halifax County Board of Commissioners is seeking ideas from citizens on best public purpose uses of the $9.7 Million in American Rescue Plan Act funds received by Halifax County. Citizens will have the opportunity to provide their input through a variety of means.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an in-person public input session will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at the Halifax County Agricultural Center Auditorium, 357 Ferrell Lane, Halifax, North Carolina. A virtual public input session will be held via Zoom the following week on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 2:00 P. M. until 4:00 P.M. Neither of these public input sessions are deemed to be official meetings of the Board of Commissioners. However, because it is likely that more four or more commissioners (a quorum) may be in attendance, public notice of both sessions is hereby given pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12 (b).
