Beginning Monday, Halifax County will accept applications for the 2024-2025 funding cycle of the Halifax County Community Grants Program. 

The Halifax County Board of Commissioners has appropriated $50,000 to fund grants for various public purposes, such as support of museums and the arts, certain housing programs, public recreation facilities, social welfare programs, and programs for seniors.

Nonprofit corporations providing such programs in the county are invited to apply for grant funding. 

Please note that programs of supervised recreation are separately supported by the Halifax County Recreation Partners Program. Funding for supervised recreation programs is not provided by the Community Grants Program.

The deadline for receipt of applications is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15.
